Dezert Steel was founded in Sunny San Diego in 2004. Quickly becoming the premier fabricator for custom racing trucks in California, we were lucky enough to have our trucks race in some of the country's most competitive races (like the Baja 500).

It wasn't long before we were getting requests for projects that were far from the racing trucks we were working on before. We even had the privilege of working with a team to build the zip line that soars over the renowned San Diego Zoo - Safari Park. Talk about a vision coming to life!
